You’re all in and ready to Book! But just before you commit you'd like to know a few things or maybe you just need a refresher after your consultation. Whatever the reason we got you covered! We know there are many questions regarding your investment in photography and cinematography services with My Touch Weddings so we have put together a list of frequently asked questions to help you get the answers you need quick!

Do I have to have a consultation prior to booking photography or cinematography services?
No. But we recommend an in person consultation or a phone call, we want to get to know all of our wonderful clients!
How do I reserve My Touch Weddings for my date?
A retainer fee and signed contract ensures your date is guaranteed.
How do I book my engagement session?
Engagement sessions are limited to Monday-Thursday during wedding season, we need to leave our weekends open to shoot all the beautiful weddings, however, we will have some Friday’s available.
How soon should I book my engagement session?
Please send us an email 4-6 weeks prior to the week you would like to schedule your engagement session. Don’t worry if it’s a shorter timeframe in most cases we are flexible!
Do we get to pick our location for our engagement session?
Sure! You will need to make sure it is no more then 30 minutes travel time from our central location in Farmington Hills Michigan. If you don’t want to pick a location we will gladly choose one for you.
How long will it take for us to receive our engagement photos?
Prior to delivering online gallery your photos will retouch your images and no additional cost retouching includes: exposure, color correction, cropping and basic skin retouching if necessary. This can take 30-45 days.

How many engagement photos will I receive?
Photo delivery varies from time to time you should expect a minimum of 40-60 photos, however, it can be much more depending on circumstances.
What if we go over our time for shooting during the engagement or wedding?
We offer additional time at the rates listed on our current pricing sheet.
If our wedding is canceled do we receive our deposit back?
A deposit/retainer fee ensures My Touch Weddings is available for your special day. The booking fee is non refundable. If you are moving your wedding to a date that we have available within the same season we will waive the deposit and revise your contract with the new date.
Is there a tax on services?
How many wedding photos will I receive?
That’s a good question! Depending on the amount of hours this can vary from wedding to wedding however you should expect a minimum of 600 photos up to 900 and some cases there are more!
Do I get to choose my photos for my wedding album?
Yes! Once we send you your online proofing gallery you can review and select your “favorite” photos online and we will use those photos to build a beautiful layout of your wedding day. Your album will include 30 pages with 50-65 stunning photos telling the story of your wedding day!

Will my engagement and wedding photos be backed up?
Yes, we back up all of our images on a hard drive and in our cloud.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we have liability and general Insurance to cover injuries equipment and all sorts of unforeseen things. If you need a copy of our liability insurance for your venue please contact us.
Do you shoot Destination Weddings?
Yes! We will travel for love!
Can we choose the songs we want to use in our final full length video?
Yes! But will need them right away in order to start the editing process so we ask that you send over any song request prior to or right after your big day! Please send 3 to 5 songs.
